Power Installation Service
Avoid the frustrations and phone calls by choosing one of our professional installation and connection services to make the most out of your brand new purchase and enjoy its many features immediately.
All our delivery personnel are trained to connect, install and tune-in most of the appliances we sell and make sure everything is working properly. They will also go through the basic features and functions with you as well as remove any packaging for recycling. You can also choose to have your old product taken away for recycling – nothing could be easier.
We can deliver and connect your new product at a day and time to suit you – for many products you can choose AM / PM options, SATURDAYS or even SAMEDAY where available.
As with all home delivery services, it's a good idea to ensure that any old appliances are disconnected, that there is sufficient space for your new product and that both the route through your room and the area where the appliance is to be located is clear of any obstructions.
Please note that this service is only available for domestic properties.
All our installation and connection service costs exclude delivery to your home address (separate delivery charges apply).
TV and Digital Installation
From just £19.99, our team will:
- Unpack and check your new TV and any Home Cinema or DVD products purchased together.
- Assemble any TV cabinet/stand purchased with the TV (optional - TV connection with cabinet assembly : £39.99)
- Connect your TV to existing power and aerial points.
- Tune the TV in to BBC1, BBC2, ITV, C4, C5 video and satellite or cable channels.
- Connect all auxiliary vision equipment such as SKY, DVD or Cable receiver.
- Connect all surround sound speakers that come with the TV or Home Cinema System package purchased at the same time.
- Test all equipment installed to make sure everything is working correctly.
- Clear and remove all packaging from your home for recycling.
You will need to check that you have or that the products come with all the necessary cables and leads. Also make sure that your new TV will not be near a heat source like a fireplace or radiator and that there is a power point and aerial socket within 1 metre of the position of the TV.

Washing Machines, Washer Dryers and Dishwashers £14.99
As part of our service, our installers will:
- Unpack and remove any transit bolts from your new appliance.
- Disconnect your old appliance provided the existing pipe work and plumbing is in good order.
- Connect your appliance to an existing power socket within 1.5 metres of the product.
- Connect your machine to existing pipe work as long as its within reach of the standard hose supplied with the machine.
- Connect the waste outlet to an existing waste outlet.
- Level the machine to reduce and minimise noise and vibration.
- Do a basic test of your new appliance.
- Clear up remove all packaging from your home for recycling.
Please note that our installers will not disconnect your old appliance or connect your new machine if the pipe work or plumbing is not in good working order or if the tap connections are seized up. We will also not be able to carry out any carpentry work such as drilling holes in worktops or install your washing machine in a bathroom or shower room.
You will need to check that there is clear access to the pipe work, stop valves and waste outlet and that there is enough space for the new appliance.
Tumble Dryers £9.99
As part of our service, our team will:
- Unpack, check and position your new Dryer in room of your choice.
- Connect appliance to an existing power point and ventilation outlet.
- Perform a basic test to ensure everything is working correctly.
- Clear up and remove all packaging from your home for recycling.
Please note that our installers are unable to install stacking kits or position your new dryer on top of your washing machine. Also please ensure that there is enough space for your new appliance and that the route through your home and the area where the dryer is to be positioned is clear from any obstructions.
Standard Refrigeration £9.99
As part of our service, our team will:
- Unpack, check and position your new appliance in a room of your choice.
- Connect your new appliance to an existing power socket.
- Ensure product is level to reduce vibration noise.
- Clear up and remove all packaging from your home for recycling.
Please note our team are unable to alter refrigeration doors to be hung from the other side nor can they transfer contents from your old appliance.
To allow the gases to settle after transportation, your refrigeration appliance must be left to stand for up to 24 hours before being switched on. After this period has elapsed, please ensure that the appliance reaches the right temperature before filling it with food.
American Fridge Freezers £29.99
As part of our service, our team will:
- Unpack, check and position your new appliance in the designated space.
- Connect your new appliance to an existing power socket.
- Connect your new appliance to an existing water supply within 1.5 metres of your product (for the ice making feature)
- Ensure product is level to cut down on vibrations and noise.
- Perform a basic test to make sure its working perfectly.
- Remove all packaging from your home for recycling.
You will need to check:
- There is a clear route from the delivery van to your home.
- Please pay particular note to access through doors as these appliances are particularly large and difficult to manoeuvre as they are more than twice the size and weight of a conventional fridge freezer.
- There is sufficient space for the appliance in terms of width, depth and height.
- There is an easily accessible existing mains water connection within 1 metre of the position of the appliance.
Please note that our team is unable to alter refrigeration doors to hinge from the other side, nor can they transfer food contents from your old fridge freezer.
Electric Freestanding and Range Cookers from £79.99
As part of our service, our team will:
- Unpack, check and position your new appliance in the designated space.
- Disconnect your old existing electric cooker.
- Connect your new cooker to an existing suitable power supply.
- Ensure product is level.
- Perform a basic test to ensure everything is working properly.
- Remove all packaging from your home for recycling.
You will need to check:
- There is sufficient space for your new cooker in terms of width, depth and height.
- There is an existing cooker electrical point within 1/2 metre of your new cooker.
- There are no combustible materials such as wood or wallpaper behind the cooking space.
- If you have a cooker hood or kitchen cabinets above the cooker, the space between them and the cooker hob must be at least 650mm.
- If you are replacing a gas cooker by an electric one, you will need to arrange for the gas cooker to be disconnected by a qualified Corgi registered engineer beforehand.
- Range style cookers: please pay particular note to access as these appliances are particularly large and difficult to manoeuvre and are more than twice the size and weight of a conventional cooker.
Please note that we do not perform any joinery work including alterations to cabinets and worktops.
Gas/Dual Fuel Free Standing and Range Cookers from £79.99
As part of our service, our GAS SAFE (Gas Safe replaces CORGI from 1st of April 2009) registered installers will:
- Unpack and position your new appliance in the designated space.
- Disconnect your existing cooker where required.
- Test for gas leaks as part of our safety checks.
- Connect your new cooker to an existing gas supply – we can extend your existing pipe work up to 1 metre so the cooker can be installed where you want.
- Connect to an existing power socket (within 0.5metre) for models with a non-battery ignition.
- Perform all gas safety tests to meet current legislation.
- Ensure product is level.
- Remove all packaging from your home for recycling.
- Register the gas installation with GAS SAFE for certification.
You will need to check:
- There is sufficient space for your new cooker in terms of width, depth and height.
- There is an existing gas supply within 1 metre of your new cooker.
- For non-battery ignition models, that there is a power point within 1/2 metre of your new cooker.
- There are no combustible materials such as wood or wallpaper behind the cooking space.
- If you have a cooker hood or kitchen cabinets above the cooker, the space between them and the cooker hob must be at least 760mm. Also note that the gap between the cooker and the base unit must be at least 20mm.
- Range style cookers: please pay particular note to access as these appliances are particularly large and difficult to manoeuvre and are more than twice the size and weight of a conventional cooker.
- If we detect any gas leaks, the supply will be turned off and you will be asked to contact TRANSCO.
Please note that we do not perform any joinery work including alterations to cabinets and worktops.
LPG Gas Conversion: For a small fee, we can convert any appliance to operate on LPG gas – please order this at point of sale.
Electric built-in Oven and/or Hob from £79.99
As part of our service our team will:
- Unpack and check your new appliances.
- Disconnect your old appliances (excluding gas appliances) where required.
- Fit the oven and/or hob in to your existing housing unit.
- Connect the oven and/or hob to existing power points.
- Perform a basic test to ensure everything is working properly.
- Remove all packaging from your home for recycling.
You will need to check:
- There are existing housing units compatible in size and cut outs to match your chosen appliances.
- There are existing cooker and/or hob power points within 1 metre of the appliances.
- There is a minimum space of 650mm between the hob and hood.
Please note that we do not perform any joinery work including alterations to cabinets and worktops. If you are replacing a gas oven and/or hob by an electric one, you will need to arrange for them to be disconnected by a qualified GAS SAFE registered engineer before we arrive.
Gas/Dual Fuel built-in Oven and/or Hob from £79.99

- Remove any packaging from your home for recycling.
You will need to check:
- Your existing housing units are compatible in size and cut outs to match the sizes of your chosen appliances.
- There is a gas supply within 1 metre and a working electrical socket within 1/2 metre of the appliances.
- There is a minimum space of 760mm between the hob and any cooker hood.
- There are no combustible materials like wood or wallpaper) behind the cooking space.
Please note that we do not perform any joinery work including alterations to cabinets and worktops.

Cooker Hood £79.99 / Splash Back £79.99
As part of our service, our team will:
- Unpack, check and position your new appliances
- Disconnect your existing hood where required.
- Fit the new splash back purchased with the hood.
- Fit the hood to existing space and connect to existing power socket.
- Connect hood to existing vent outlet or set for recirculation.
- Perform a basic test of the appliance to ensure everything is working properly.
- Remove any packaging from your home for recycling.
You will need to check:
- Your existing space is suitable for the new hood and/or splash back in terms of width and height.
- That you have a suitable existing electric socket at the location of the hood.
- That you have sufficient space between the hob and the cooker hood to meet current legislation.
Please note that we do not perform any joinery work including alterations to cabinets and worktops.
Integrated Appliances £79.99
Available on integrated dishwashers, fridge/freezers, washing machine machines, washer dryers and tumble dryers.
As part of our service, our team will:
- Unpack, check and position your new appliance.
- Remove the plinths and panel door of the old appliance if required.
- Connect the new appliance to existing power points and/or pipe work.
- Ensure the appliance is level.
- Fit the existing panel door/s to the new appliance.
You will need to check:
- Your new appliance fits in to the existing housing unit in terms of width, height and depth.
- The existing panel door/s are in a suitable condition to be reattached.
- There is easy access to the existing pipe work.
- Your stop valves are in good working order (for wet connections).
- There is sufficient access for ventilation tubes (tumble dryers).
Please note that we do not perform any complex joinery work including alterations to cabinets and worktops although we will do some basic carpentry work required (e.g. drilling holes, removing back panel etc) to successfully complete the installation.
Built-in Microwave £79.99
As part of the service, our team will:
- Unpack, check and position the new appliance.
- Assemble and fit the microwave housing kit in to your existing kitchen housing unit.
- Fit and connect the microwave oven to an existing power supply.
- Perform a basic test of the new appliance to ensure everything is working properly.
- Clear and remove any packaging from your home for recycling.
You will need to check:
- Your new appliance fits in to the existing housing unit in terms of width, height and depth.
- There is an existing power socket within 1metre of the new appliance.
